Corporate partners

Our corporate partners engage with us and our supporters in a wide range of different ways, to fit with their brands and commerical activities.

Shepherd Neame www.shepherd-neame.co.uk

We always look for opportunities to develop a unique relationship with a partner. Shepherd Neame's "Bottle of Britain" campaign in 2008 successfully linked a donation to the RAF Benevolent Fund to every pint or "Battle of Britain" pack of beer sold, raising over £30,000 for us, as well as helping raise awareness of the work we do. The campaign was supported by a competition to win a day with the Red Arrows team.

We've been working with Shepherd Neame since 1990 when it created Spitfire Ale to mark the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and raise money for our "Reach for the Sky" appeal.

Towergate Wilsons www.towergatewilsons.co.uk

Towergate Wilsons, a specialist provider of insurance to Armed Forces personnel, makes a donation to the RAF Benevolent Fund for every premium sold to one of our supporters.

In April 2009, we worked with the Ministry of Defence to organise an RAF Homecoming at the House of Commons, attended by MPs such as John Hutton, David Cameron and Gerald Howarth. Towergate Wilsons was one of our five sponsors, lending its brand to the event. We were pleased to welcome Towergate Wilsons' Managing Director, Rod Breeze, to the event.

When a team of RAF Physical Training Instructors from RAF Honington took on the gruelling six day Abu Dhabi Adventure Race in 2008 to raise money for us, Towergate Wilsons saw it as another ideal opportunity for sponsorship.

Aramark www.aramark.com

Aramark, who run general stores on RAF stations, keep our collection boxes on shop counters, raising over £4,000 a year. Aramark encourages its staff to support us too. Most recently a team of six of their staff undertook a fundraising cycle challenge, riding from Lands End to John O'Groats and raising over £6,500 for us.

Corporate events

Other corporate partners are involved in sponsoring or buying places in our adventurous range of corporate fundraisers. These events, such as our yearly Gala Dinner, are an opportunity to profile a brand within an exclusive high value context, and provide excellent networking opportunities.
