In circumstances of death or disability we can offer help towards the cost of educating your children.
Although we have flexibility to consider your unique situation, we usually consider helping when:
- Your partner dies while serving in the RAF
- You are medically discharged from the RAF with a severe disability that prevents you from finding long term employment
- You are currently serving in the RAF and your child has a severe disability that requires specialist supervision
If you don't fit these criteria, please see Financial need | Living costs for other situations where we may be able to help with expenses relating to children.
If you believe you fit our criteria, please contact us. We help with the cost of educating children between the ages of 8 and 18.
If your child plans to take a first degree or similar qualification, they may also be eligible for an annual RAF Benevolent Fund Scholarship of £1,500.
