RAFBF supporter David Ebbage is kindly offering use of his holiday apartment ‘La Salibere’, in the North Mayenne region of France free of charge to members of the RAF family (serving or ex-serving members and their dependants) who are in need of a welfare break. Such breaks could be for a variety of reasons, such as illness in the family or stress accumulated in the family through lengthy separation on deployments etc.
The appartment is available for three months during the off-peak season and applications for a week's welfare break during the months of April, May or September should be made by completing the enquiry form below.
‘La Salibere’ is set within a seven acre park, with leafy walkways around a beautiful carp lake and is a paradise for artists, nature lovers, or those wishing to fish. The appartment includes:
- three modern double bedrooms (one with two single beds)
- shower room
- separate toilet
- large living room with a kitchenette - there is a balcony to this room which overlooks the garden
- Outside there is a seating/BBQ area whilst the rest of the seven acre site, with a two acre carp lake, is all available.
Please note that:
- A car is needed since it is a very rural area
- Unfortunately, because the apartment has a staircase, it may not be suitable to guests with mobility problems
More information can be found on the ‘La Salibere’ website
To apply for a stay at the apartment, please fill in the enquiry form below and David will contact successful applicants directly.
