Fund chosen as Charity of the Day at the Inter Service Rugby Championship

On Saturday 11 May, the RAF Rugby team went head-to-head with the British Army team for the Inter Service Rugby Championship to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund, chosen as Charity of the Day.
The game took place at the Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester with both a women's and men's game.
Amber Satterthwaite, Community Fundraising Team Leader, at the RAF Benevolent Fund said: "It was a fabulous day - we had so many people chat to us about the work we do and the support we provide, as well as offering donations. We had many uniformed volunteers help out on the day and they all loved it; we got so many messages of thanks after!"
Although both Army teams took the win, it was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the Fund and our services, and speak to our supporters.
