Press releases

The welfare of our beneficiaries is at the centre of the Fund's response to the COVID-19 outbreak. We want to reassure anyone currently supported by the Fund, or anyone who needs our support, that we are working hard to ensure we will be able to continue to meet their needs.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, we are implementing a series of additional measures to continue to look after the health of our beneficiaries, staff, suppliers and partner organisations.

All enquiries into the RAF Benevolent Fund via phone, email or online will be answered and dealt with as quickly as possible. We are working closely with our caseworking organisations and other partners to mitigate any associated risks such as visiting vulnerable elderly beneficiaries in their homes.

Unfortunately, we have had to take the decision to close our respite centre, Princess Marina House on the south coast and the daily lunch club we run for veterans living in West Sussex. We have also cancelled or postponed several events in our diary up until June.

Our priority will always be the safety and wellbeing of our beneficiaries, supporters, suppliers and our staff.

Do follow us on Facebook and Twitter or check the website for the most up-to-date information.

We would like to take this opportunity to request everyone to keep an eye on any vulnerable or isolated family members or neighbours and make sure you keep in touch regularly.
