Criteria for nominations

Below is our nomination and judging process for the 2024 RAF Benevolent Fund Awards.

  • The judging period covers activity from 1 January to 31 December 2023.
  • Activity must have been in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund and/or its beneficiaries.
  • Nominations are free to make.
  • Anyone can make a nomination, either for themselves or for someone else.
  • People can make multiple nominations in any category.
  • Nominations must be received by 12 January 2024.
  • Before submitting a nomination, please consider whether the person, group or organisation would want their support for the Fund acknowledged in this way.
  • All nominations are reviewed before a panel meets to decide a shortlist of up to four nominees for each category.
  • Please include as much relevant detail as you can to help the panel make an informed decision.
  • We will only contact the shortlisted nominees.
