GiveACar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that can turn your old car into cash for the Fund. They arrange free collection, and then either sell your car at auction or scrap it with the proceeds (minus service fees) raised going to your chosen charity.

Launched in 2010, GiveACar was the first service of its kind in the UK and allows charities to tap into a new source of funds. Since their inception, they have won several awards and have seen great success with both charities and the general public. To date, they have raised over £3.5million for more than 1,600 charities. Using a nationwide network of breaker yards and salvage partners, GiveACar has coordinated the collection of over 35,000 vehicles so you can be sure they know how to get the best value from your donated car.

Donating your car happens in 3 easy steps:

Step 1 – Tell them about your unwanted vehicle. They'll collect it for free.
Step 2 – Depending on its condition, your vehicle will be either auctioned or scrapped.
Step 3 – The proceeds are donated to your chosen charity and you’ll receive a receipt.
