Throughout the October half term, RAF Benson has been hosting a Scarecrow Trail event, bringing families together to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

Families on Station at RAF Benson have created their own scarecrows based on a film character. The Scarecrow Trail route is mapped out for participants to follow whilst answering quiz questions.

RAF Benson families, individuals, the Fund’s Ben Play and Airplay groups, Scouts and Rainbows have all enjoyed walking the trail. The competition will be judged at the end of half term week with a prize for the best scarecrow.

George Brown, Community Fundraiser for the South at the RAF Benevolent Fund said: “It is fantastic to see the RAF Family at RAF Benson coming together to create a fun event for all members of the community to get involved with. Thanks to all who have contributed to raise money for the Fund.”
