Lincoln dental company Treeline Dentalcare has raised over £600 for the RAF Benevolent Fund.

The team, consisting of Joanne Rodd, Chelsea Foster, Simona Cozmo, Rebecca Coleman, Amelia Crowther and Sharon Loveday spent the day taking it in turns to cycle on a stationary bike installed in the practice’s reception day, for a total of 12 hours.

Deputy clinical lead and dental nurse Joanne Rodd, who organised the event, decided to raise money for the Fund because the military has always been an important part of her life.

She said: "I was brought up in the military and now I’m married to it – I know how valuable the RAF Benevolent Fund’s support can be for members of the RAF Family. The practice encouraged all members of the team to dress up and have a go on the bike and the event was a massive success – we raised over £600 for the Fund thanks to donations from staff and patients."

The RAF Benevolent Fund provides financial, emotional, and practical assistance to serving and retired RAF personnel and their families. This includes grants to help with financial difficulty, mental health support, Airplay youth clubs, and more.
