RAFA Survey

Did you serve on Operations in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Published:

The RAF Benevolent Fund is working in partnership with the RAF Association to better understand the perceptions of trade and RAF associations amongst veterans of operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Research tells us that veterans who are socially connected with other veterans are more likely to seek help if they experience poor mental health and are less likely to take their own lives. The RAF Benevolent Fund, in partnership with the RAF Association, are carrying out research to find out why more veterans of operations in Afghanistan and Iraq are not joining their trade, squadron associations or RAF Association branch after service, and what more could be done by these associations to engage and provide supported comradeship opportunities.

We need to hear from RAF veterans of the Afghan and Iraq operations. If you would like to help by participating in a short online survey giving us your views you will be entered into a draw to receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
