On Wednesday 11 December, we hosted our annual Carol Concert at St Clements Danes Church, the Central Church of the Royal Air Force.
The service featured readings and classic Christmas carols with performances by the London Show Choir and the choir of St Clements Danes.
Those in attendance included Fund supporters, the University of London Air Squadron, East Ham (282) Squadron, and Fund Ambassadors.
The London Show Choir is one of the most talked-about choirs in the UK and regularly collaborates with guest artists from stage and screen, including Hugh Maynard, Brenda Edwards and Cassidy Janson. The choir of St Clement Danes is an octet of professional singers who sing with the major vocal ensembles, as well as with various opera companies and as soloists in recitals and choral concerts in the UK and across the world.
Ellen Brooks, Head of Events at the Fund, said: “We were delighted to host our annual Carol Concert this year as a display of thanks to those who choose to support us. It is thanks to the generosity of our supporters that we can continue in our commitment to be there for members of the RAF Family in their time of need."
A special thank you to MBDA for their generous sponsorship of the concert this year.
