Scotland's Garden Scheme
Scotland's Garden Scheme raises funds for hundreds of charities each year, including the RAF Benevolent Fund, powered by their amazing teams of volunteers and garden owners around Scotland.
This year, there are two beautiful gardens which are donating to the Fund;
Glebe House
Open from 01 April until 31 October
Early 19th-century formal walled garden of the former manse by Alexander Forteath, also incorporating a unique doocot in its construction of clay dab. The garden consists of colourful herbaceous borders within the walled garden and box hedge symmetry. A wide variety of roses together with an orchard and kitchen garden area to the south.

Hollytree Lodge
Open on Sunday 14 July
A tranquil one-acre garden in the centre of the village. The garden is divided by internal hedges into different areas. Highlights include a small Japanese garden, mini orchard, naturalised spring bulbs and wildflowers, mixed herbaceous borders, rill and a wildlife pond. We have an interesting collection of rhododendrons and azaleas.
A variety of other unusual trees and shrubs including various acers, giving wonderful autumn colours, a handkerchief tree, eucalyptus snow gum, and a Parrotia Persica (Persian ironwood) amongst others. We garden organically, aiming to keep the garden as pollinator friendly as possible, by working with nature, complementing our beekeeping interests.
